Charming, traditional Andalucian farmhouse, beautifully appointed and equipped and idyllically situated. Nestling between two tiny mountain hamlets, with staggering views of mountains, Lake Vinuela and the Mediterranean in the distance, the house is stylishly decorated with whitewashed walls, wooden beams, terracotta floors and andaluz tiles and ceramics. Stroll through the olive grove, up a flight of steps to the large private pool (10 x 5m) with its sun terraces, shaded areas, shower and sun-loungers. French doors lead out onto numerous terraces (300 meters in total) and pretty gardens with jasmine and bougainvillea. An outdoor built-in barbecue and large dining table enable meals to be taken alfresco whilst admiring the breathtaking views. The house is secluded yet within easy reach of several inviting tapas bars, an excellent local restaurant and all local amenities. The market village of Periana is a ten minute drive and the beach 30 mins.

This is a detached villa offering self catered accommodation, located in the mountains in the town of Malaga. It is, in a rural area. This property sleeps 6, has 3 bedrooms, 1 single beds, 3 double beds, 1 childrens' beds, 1 cots. There are 2 bathrooms, 1 baths, 1 showers, 2 WCs.

La Amapola is located 25kms inland between Malaga and Granada, only an hours drive from both and from Malaga airport. Seville, Ronda, Cordoba and Nerja are all also accessible for a pleasant day trip or a relaxing night away. The white hilltop villages of the Axarquia, Granadas arabic quarter and the Alhambra Palace and the picturesque beaches of Nerja are just some of the nearby attractions. Other recommended day trips include Malagas Picasso museum and the wonderful tapas bars in the centro historico, the fabulous moorish architecture of Cordoba, the hot springs at Alhama de Granada, the lake at Beremejales and the gorgeous scenery at El Chorro Gorge. With its subtropical climate and gorgeous unspoilt scenery it is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor pursuits (tennis, horse-riding, hiking, mountain biking etc - all available 2kms away at the local Villa Turistica) or simply to get away from it all and enjoy the views, unspoilt natural surroundings and tranquility.
