The area is one of contrasts, the hustle and bustle of the coast with its numerous bars, restaurants, shops, marinas and beaches, or a short trip inland will take you to the peace and quiet of the 'white villages' of Andalucia. If you want to explore further, a 50 minute drive through the mountains will take you to the spectacular Tajo Gorge in Ronda or about 2½ hours to the exciting cities of Sevilla, Cordoba and Granada. The nearest beach is approximately 2 kms as is the local shopping area with banks, supermarkets, etc. There are three good Spanish restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. For sports there are various activities close at hand. Water sports, tennis/paddle courts, a bowling green and, of course, golf.
